We are thrilled you have visited our website and would love to have you join our organization. There are some who might not view us as a “garden club”. After all, we do not have monthly meetings with guest lecturers on composting, perennials, roses, or shrubs. We also do not have field trips to renowned gardens such as Cheekwood. We have, however, had several field trips to Davidson county (also Kentucky) to provide post-tornado assistance to families by removing fallen trees and debris from their yards. Additionally, our garden club has installed raised garden beds for 20 Williamson County families free of charge in the past three years. . One of those families headed by a single mother with four children called us “the Best Garden Club ever”.
The focus of our garden club is not our own gardens, rather it is on meeting the outdoor needs of others in Williamson County. So if you love spending time in the great outdoors and gain satisfaction by providing assistance to those in need, we would love for you to consider joining our Garden Club.
If you reside in Williamson County and are currently receiving food stamps and need raised garden beds to grow additional food, please send us an email.
